We first designed the catalogue in 2009 and have been invited back to design each of the catalogues for the subsequent years since. This is the 2013 catalogue and includes text from each of the students and illustrations of each of the winning medals. We had the difficult challenge of representing 13 universities, over 120 students and 10 prize winners in a way that was clear and easy to understand. We made sure that the illustrations of medals were as close to, if not next to, the relevant student statement – making for a better reader experience. A column for captions was added to aid this when illustrations couldn't be right next to the student's entry. We also better incorporated the new BAMS identity, for example, using the red/orange colour to highlight headings and captions, providing a better hierarchy of text and information.
