We originally worked with Lighthouse in 2006 to create their brand identity and website. Increasingly seen as an authority on business analysis, their profile had since risen, with frequent appearances on television and radio news programmes to provide comment and opinion. Read More...
To promote this to clients, we were commissioned to develop the website with a press and events archive with which to present multimedia video and audio clips of these appearances. The solution was an area of the website called ‘The Latest’, where clients can view and listen to the interviews through a custom Flash player, designed to integrate with the distinctive look and feel of the rest of the site.
Working closely with our programming partner we also provided a database developed to work in union with the multimedia player, so that on adding a new article, all relevant pages on the website were instantly updated. The ease and efficiency in updating the website is paramount for Lighthouse, and this bespoke database means that news clips can be live the same day as being broadcast.
Further to this, we also developed a mailing list database and newsletter function, enabling Lighthouse to quickly and easily keep clients updated with news items by way of a branded email newsletter.
