Celebrating creativity at the heart of the new School of Communication at Falmouth University with a campaign and notebook design.
Campaign & Book Design
Design Creative
Notebook design, produced for Falmouth University as part of a campaign to celebrate the new School of Communication.
To represent the departments of the School, four versions were designed for each Creative Advertising, Creative Writing, Graphic Design and Journalism.
Framed, dotted, gridded and lined pages of notes were designed to represent each of the disciplines and interspersed with imagery representative of the student experience, both on and off campus, at Falmouth.
The notebooks are handed out to new and prospective students as a gift welcoming the students to the School of Communication at Falmouth University.
Copy Style & Tone of Voice
We collaborated with copywriter Craig Barr-Green to define the style and tone of voice for the materials:
“Welcome to the School of Communication. Here, please have this journal. The notes you make on these pages could be the first steps towards your great idea. The big one. You could look back in years to come and find the seeds of your dissertations, your copious lecture notes or those bolts of sheer inspiration. Or it could end up full of shopping lists, incomprehensible scrawls and bizarre doodles. That’s fine too. Whatever works.”
