Background
Local Works Studio takes a landscape led approach to design, using site based resources and processes to plan, make and repair.
Brand Positioning
Local Works Studio operates between the fields of building craft, landscape architecture and socially engaged placemaking. They champion a future-orientated vision for the construction industry that is responsive to the social, environmental and ecological needs of people, places and communities.
Visual Identity
In response to Local Works Studio’s practice, our visual identity uses a graphic device that reacts and responds to each specific instance of application. The framing device, made from ‘L’s borrowed from the name, is used to graphically represent a designated area or locality, which grows and forms responsively into the space of the logotype for any given application.
