Local Works Studio takes a landscape led approach to design, using site-based resources and processes to plan, make and repair.

Local Works Studio operates between the fields of building craft, landscape architecture and socially engaged placemaking. They champion a future-orientated vision for the construction industry that is responsive to the social, environmental and ecological needs of people, places and communities.

Application of the visual identity uses a graphic framing device, made from ‘L’s borrowed from the name, and is used to graphically represent a designated area or locality, which grows and forms responsively into the space.

The website framework is designed to flex and respond to the content generated by Local Works Studio and allows for a cohesive and flexible presentation of the scope of projects and practice.
